By accessing or using Janma Endurance, creating an account, subscribing to the Platform, connecting third-party services, uploading training data, communicating with a Coach, or otherwise using our services, you agree to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use Janma Endurance.
1. Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal data collected and processed through:
the Janma Endurance platform;
the janma.coach website;
web applications, mobile applications, dashboards, and related software;
trainee accounts;
coach dashboards;
subscription and payment flows;
training plans and workout records;
communication tools;
third-party device and application integrations;
support, marketing, and promotional communications;
any other services offered by Janma Endurance.
This Privacy Policy applies to Trainees, Runners, Coaches, administrators, organisations, clubs, corporate groups, and other users of the Platform.
However, Janma Endurance is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. Minors are not permitted to create accounts or use the Platform.
2. Definitions
In this Privacy Policy:
“Janma”, “Janma Endurance”, “we”, “us”, or “our” means Janmasoft LLP and the Janma Endurance platform operated through janma.coach.
“Platform” means the website, web application, mobile application, software, dashboards, tools, integrations, analytics, communications, and related services provided by Janma Endurance.
“User”, “you”, or “your” means any person who accesses or uses the Platform.
“Trainee” or “Runner” means a person who uses the Platform to receive, access, follow, record, track, or review running, endurance, fitness, or training-related activities.
“Coach” means an independent running coach, endurance coach, trainer, mentor, or similar service provider who uses the Platform to provide training guidance or services to Trainees.
“Personal Data” means any data about an identified or identifiable individual.
“Training Data” means data relating to your running, endurance, fitness, workouts, training history, performance, recovery, and related activities.
“Health and Fitness Data” means data relating to your body, health status, injury history, medical declarations, physical condition, heart rate, recovery, sleep, HRV, VO₂ max, or similar metrics, where provided by you or imported through integrations.
“Processing” means collecting, recording, storing, organising, using, analysing, sharing, disclosing, deleting, or otherwise handling personal data.
3. Adult-Only Platform
Janma Endurance is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older.
We do not knowingly permit minors to create accounts or use the Platform.
By creating an account or using Janma Endurance, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
If we become aware that a user is below 18 years of age, we may suspend or delete the account and associated personal data, subject to legal and operational requirements.

4. Personal Data We Collect
We may collect the following categories of personal data.
4.1 Account and Profile Data

user role, such as Trainee, Coach, organisation administrator, or other user type.
4.2 Physical, Fitness, and Training Profile Data
This may include:

running experience;
training history;
preferred running distances;
goals;
target events;
current fitness level;
availability for training;
training preferences;
past performance data;
baseline fitness information.
4.3 Health, Injury, and Safety-Related Data
You may voluntarily provide health and injury-related information to support safer training and coaching.
This may include:
injury history;
current injuries;
medical declarations;
known health conditions;
cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, orthopaedic, or other risk disclosures;
pain, discomfort, fatigue, recovery, or readiness notes;
medication or treatment information, if voluntarily provided;
training restrictions advised by medical professionals, if provided.
Janma Endurance is not a medical service. This information is used only to support training context and Platform functionality. It is not used to provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.
4.4 Workout and Performance Data
This may include:
training plans;
scheduled workouts;
completed workouts;
missed workouts;
distance;
duration;
pace;
speed;
cadence;
elevation;
route information;
split timings;
race results;
training load;
perceived effort;
recovery comments;
Coach feedback;
session notes;
attendance records;
performance summaries.
4.5 Device and Integration Data
If you choose to connect third-party devices, applications, platforms, or services to Janma Endurance, we may receive data from those third parties based on the permissions granted by you. These third parties may include, but are not limited to, fitness watches, running devices, health applications, running applications, activity tracking platforms, wearable device platforms, and training platforms.
Depending on the integration and permissions granted by you, we may receive:
activity data;
GPS/location data;
heart rate;
cadence;
pace;
speed;
elevation;
distance;
sleep data;
recovery metrics;
HRV;
VO₂ max;
training readiness;
device identifiers;
timestamps;
related fitness and performance data.
You may disable integrations through the Platform or through the relevant third-party service, subject to the functionality made available by that service.
4.6 Location Data
We may process location data where provided by you or imported through connected devices or services.
This may include:
GPS routes;
start and end locations of runs;
elevation data;
route maps;
location metadata associated with workouts.
Location data may be visible to Janma and to your assigned Coach where necessary for training review, coaching, analytics, safety, and Platform functionality.
4.7 Communications Data
We may collect and store communications made through or in connection with the Platform, including:
Coach-Trainee messages;
support requests;
emails;
feedback;
complaints;
grievance communications;
survey responses;
promotional responses;
internal notes relating to support or account management.
4.8 Payment and Subscription Data
If you subscribe to the Platform, we may collect and process payment-related information.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers such as Razorpay or other payment gateways used by Janma.
We may collect:
subscription plan;
payment status;
payment amount;
invoice details;
transaction ID;
billing information;
payment date;
renewal and cancellation information.
We do not intend to store full card numbers, UPI credentials, net banking credentials, or other sensitive payment instrument details on our own systems. Such data is processed by the payment gateway or payment service provider, subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
4.9 Technical and Usage Data
We may collect technical and usage data, including:

device identifiers;

from organisations, clubs, or corporate groups where they create or manage accounts;
from communications with you;
from publicly available or user-authorised sources, where applicable.
6. Purposes for Which We Use Personal Data
We use personal data for the following purposes:
6.1 To Provide the Platform
We process personal data to:
create and manage accounts;
authenticate users;
provide access to Platform features;
enable Trainee-Coach interaction;
assign and display training plans;
track workout completion;
generate training summaries;
provide dashboards and analytics;
maintain user profiles;
manage subscriptions.
6.2 To Support Coaching and Training
We process personal data to:
help Coaches understand Trainee training history;
allow Coaches to assign workouts;
allow Coaches to review performance;
allow Coaches to provide feedback;
help Trainees track their progress;
display relevant training and performance information;
support safer and better-informed training decisions.
Your assigned Coach may be able to view all data in your Trainee account, including profile data, training data, workout data, health and injury disclosures, integration data, location data, and communications relevant to the coaching relationship.
Janma may also access and process all data available on the Platform for Platform operation, support, analytics, safety, troubleshooting, compliance, and improvement.
6.3 To Process Payments
We process payment and subscription data to:
collect subscription fees;
process renewals;
manage cancellations;
generate invoices or receipts;
detect failed payments;
manage disputes or chargebacks;
comply with tax, accounting, and legal requirements.
6.4 To Improve the Platform
We process personal data and usage data to:
improve Platform functionality;
fix bugs;
develop new features;
improve user experience;
improve training analytics;
understand usage patterns;
maintain system performance;
enhance safety, reliability, and security.
6.5 To Communicate with You
We may use your contact details to send:

subscription updates;

Platform announcements.
6.6 For Marketing and Promotions

Even if you opt out of promotional communications, we may continue to send service, transactional, legal, security, and account-related communications.

You may withdraw consent where applicable. Withdrawal of consent may affect your ability to use some Platform features.
7.2 Performance of Contract
We process personal data where necessary to provide the Platform and services you have subscribed to or requested.
This includes account access, training features, subscription management, payments, Coach-Trainee functionality, and support.
7.3 Legitimate Interests
Where permitted by applicable law, we may process personal data for legitimate business interests, including:
improving the Platform;

securing the Platform;

enforcing Terms of Use;

8. Health and Fitness Data
Because Janma Endurance is a running and endurance training platform, some of the data processed through the Platform may relate to health, physical condition, injury status, training load, recovery, and performance.
You understand and agree that:
health and fitness-related data may be processed by Janma;
such data may be visible to your assigned Coach;
such data may be used to support training context and Platform functionality;
Janma is not a medical service;
Coaches are independent service providers and not medical professionals unless separately qualified;
Janma does not provide diagnosis, treatment, medical advice, rehabilitation, or emergency medical services.
You should not provide sensitive medical information unless it is relevant to your training and you are comfortable sharing it with Janma and your Coach.
9. Coach Access to Data
When you are associated with a Coach on the Platform, your assigned Coach may be able to access all data available in your Trainee account.
This may include:
profile data;
contact details;
physical profile;
training goals;
running history;
workout data;
integration data;
GPS/location data;
heart rate and recovery data;
injury and health disclosures;
training notes;
Coach-Trainee communications;
performance summaries;
subscription-related access status where relevant.
This access is provided to enable coaching, training review, communication, progress tracking, and Platform use.
Coaches are independent service providers. Janma will require Coaches to handle Trainee data responsibly, but Janma is not responsible for any unauthorised use or disclosure of data by a Coach outside the Platform, except to the extent required by applicable law.
If you want to discontinue sharing data with a Coach, you may contact Janma or use Platform features where available.
10. Janma Access to Data
Janma may access and process all data available on the Platform.
This access is necessary for:
Platform operation;
customer support;
technical maintenance;
subscription management;
Coach and Trainee account management;
analytics;
safety review;
troubleshooting;
fraud prevention;
product improvement;
legal compliance;
dispute resolution;
enforcement of Terms of Use.
Janma personnel, contractors, and service providers may access personal data only where reasonably required for authorised purposes.
11. Sharing of Personal Data
We may share personal data in the following circumstances.
11.1 With Assigned Coaches
We may share Trainee data with the assigned Coach to enable coaching and training services.
11.2 With Service Providers
We may share data with service providers who help us operate the Platform, including:
hosting providers;
cloud infrastructure providers;
database providers;
analytics providers;
payment gateways;
email service providers;
messaging providers;
customer support tools;
security providers;
development and maintenance service providers.
We currently use or may use infrastructure and deployment services such as Vercel and Railway. We may use payment service providers such as Razorpay.
11.3 With Payment Providers
Payment data may be processed by payment gateways and financial service providers. Their processing is subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and applicable laws.
11.4 With Organisations or Clubs
If your account is linked to a club, organisation, corporate group, or similar entity, relevant account, training, attendance, and performance data may be visible to authorised administrators of that organisation, depending on the arrangement and Platform settings.
11.5 For Legal Reasons
We may disclose data where required to:
comply with law;
respond to lawful requests;
comply with court orders;
cooperate with government authorities;
protect our legal rights;
investigate fraud, misuse, or security incidents;
enforce our Terms of Use;
protect the safety of users or the public.
11.6 Business Transfers
If Janma undergoes a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, investment transaction, or transfer of business, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
12. No Sale of Personal Data
Janma does not sell your personal data.
We do not sell your personal data to advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
We may use aggregated, anonymised, or de-identified data for analytics, research, product improvement, benchmarking, business analysis, and platform development, provided such data does not directly identify you.
13. International Data Transfers
Janma operates from India, but some of our technology, hosting, cloud, analytics, payment, communication, or support providers may process data outside India.
By using the Platform, you understand that your personal data may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries other than your country of residence.
Where required by applicable law, Janma will take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
For users in jurisdictions such as the EU/EEA or the UK, where applicable, such safeguards may include contractual protections, standard contractual clauses, adequacy mechanisms, or other legally recognised transfer mechanisms.

However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of personal data transmitted to or processed through the Platform.

Withdrawal of consent will not affect processing already carried out before withdrawal.
If you withdraw consent for data required to provide the Platform, certain features may become unavailable, and we may be unable to continue providing services to you.

We may send promotional communications through email, messaging services, social media, in-app messages, or other communication channels.
You may opt out of promotional communications at any time by:
using the unsubscribe link where provided;
replying with an opt-out request where supported;

Even if you opt out of promotional communications, we may still send you service-related, transactional, security, legal, payment, and account-related messages.
20. Third-Party Services
The Platform may contain links to or integrations with third-party services, websites, applications, payment providers, devices, or platforms.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Janma is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
You should review the privacy policies and permissions of third-party services before connecting them to Janma Endurance.
21. Payment Processing
Payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers such as Razorpay or other payment gateways.
When you make a payment, payment-related information may be collected and processed by the payment provider.
Janma may receive payment confirmation, transaction status, invoice information, subscription status, and related billing data, but we do not intend to store full payment instrument details such as full card numbers, UPI credentials, net banking passwords, or CVV numbers.
Payment providers may process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable law.
22. Social Media and Public Interactions
If you interact with Janma through social media platforms, public groups, comments, posts, campaigns, or community features, your interactions may be visible to other users of those platforms.
Any personal data you disclose publicly may be collected, used, or shared by others.
Janma is not responsible for personal data that you choose to disclose publicly on third-party platforms.
23. Data Accuracy
You are responsible for ensuring that the personal data you provide is accurate, complete, and updated.
Inaccurate or incomplete data may affect training plans, Coach review, analytics, safety, Platform functionality, and user experience.
You may update your account information through the Platform where available or by contacting us.
24. Automated Processing and Analytics
Janma may use automated processing, analytics, algorithms, rules, and system-generated insights to support Platform functionality.
This may include:
training summaries;
completion tracking;
performance trends;
risk flags;
progress indicators;
usage analytics;
Platform recommendations;
dashboards;
reports.
Such automated outputs are intended to assist users and Coaches. They are not medical advice, professional diagnosis, or guaranteed training recommendations.
Janma may improve, modify, or discontinue automated analytics features at any time.
25. Data Breach and Security Incidents
If we become aware of a personal data breach or security incident that affects your personal data, we will take reasonable steps to investigate, contain, and address the incident.
Where required by applicable law, we will notify affected users, regulators, or authorities within the required time period and in the required manner.

27. Users Outside India
Janma Endurance is operated from India.
If you access the Platform from outside India, you understand that your personal data may be processed in India and in other countries where our service providers operate.
Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights under local law. Janma will honour such rights where applicable.
If you are located in the EU/EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with specific data protection laws, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, and complaint to a supervisory authority, subject to applicable law.
28. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may notify you through the Platform, by email, or by any other reasonable method.
The updated Privacy Policy will be effective from the date stated at the top of the policy.
Your continued use of Janma Endurance after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective will mean that you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with the updated Privacy Policy, you should stop using the Platform and request deletion of your account if desired.
29. Relationship with Terms of Use
This Privacy Policy should be read together with Janma Endurance’s Terms of Use.
In case of conflict between the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy regarding general Platform use, the Terms of Use will apply.
In case of conflict specifically regarding personal data processing, this Privacy Policy will apply.
