Coach Terms of Use
Janma Endurance
Effective Date: July 30, 2026
These Coach Terms of Use govern the access to and use of Janma Endurance, operated through janma.coach, by Coaches, trainers, mentors, running groups, endurance professionals, and similar service providers.
Janma Endurance is owned and operated by Janmasoft LLP, a limited liability partnership under formation under the laws of India, having its registered office at W-115, 1st Floor, 3rd Avenue, Anna Nagar, Chennai- 600 040, Tamil Nadu, India and LLPIN ACZ-9999 once allotted.

By creating a Coach account, accessing the Coach dashboard, inviting Trainees, viewing Trainee data, assigning training plans, communicating with Trainees, receiving any platform-linked commercial benefit, or otherwise using Janma Endurance as a Coach, you agree to these Coach Terms of Use.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform as a Coach.
1. Definitions
In these Terms:
“Janma”, “Janma Endurance”, “we”, “us”, or “our” means Janmasoft LLP and the Janma Endurance platform operated through janma.coach.
“Platform” means the Janma Endurance website, web application, mobile application, software, dashboards, tools, integrations, analytics, communications, reports, and related services.
“Coach”, “you”, or “your” means any person or entity who uses the Platform to provide running, endurance, fitness, training, coaching, mentoring, planning, review, analysis, or related services to Trainees.
“Trainee”, “Runner”, or “Athlete” means a person who uses the Platform to receive, access, follow, record, track, or review running, endurance, fitness, or training-related activities.
“User” means any person who accesses or uses the Platform, including Coaches, Trainees, administrators, organisations, clubs, and other permitted users.
“Coach Account” means an account created or authorised for use by a Coach on the Platform.
“Coach Content” means training plans, workout schedules, notes, comments, instructions, messages, templates, documents, videos, images, feedback, analytics interpretations, recommendations, and other material created, uploaded, submitted, or shared by a Coach through the Platform.
“Trainee Data” means all data relating to a Trainee that is available on or through the Platform, including profile data, contact details, training data, workout data, health and injury disclosures, device data, location data, performance data, communications, and related information.
“Personal Data” means any data about an identified or identifiable individual.
“Subscription Fee” means the fee paid by a Trainee or other user for access to the Platform.
“Coach Commercial Terms” means any commercial arrangement separately agreed between Janma and the Coach, including revenue share, referral fee, platform fee, payout cycle, taxes, deductions, or other financial terms.
2. Nature of Relationship
Janma provides a technology platform that enables Coaches to manage Trainees, assign training, communicate with Trainees, review training data, and use platform tools for running and endurance coaching.
The Coach is an independent service provider.
Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, agency, franchise, joint venture, representative, or fiduciary relationship between Janma and the Coach.
The Coach is not authorised to:
represent Janma as an employee, agent, partner, or officer;
bind Janma to any obligation;
make promises, guarantees, warranties, or commitments on behalf of Janma;
collect money on behalf of Janma unless expressly authorised in writing;
use Janma’s name, brand, or Platform in a misleading manner.
The Coach is solely responsible for the coaching services, training plans, advice, feedback, representations, and commitments provided by the Coach to Trainees.
3. Eligibility and Onboarding
To use the Platform as a Coach, you must:
be at least 18 years old;
be legally competent to enter into a binding agreement;
provide accurate and complete onboarding information;
have appropriate knowledge, experience, or competence to provide running or endurance coaching services;
comply with all applicable laws, professional standards, safety norms, and ethical requirements;
accept these Coach Terms of Use;
comply with Janma’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and other applicable policies.
Janma may approve, reject, suspend, or terminate Coach access at its sole discretion.
Janma may request information from the Coach, including identity details, contact details, qualifications, experience, certifications, bank details, tax details, and other information reasonably required for onboarding, verification, payout, compliance, or risk management.
Janma’s approval of a Coach account does not constitute a certification, endorsement, employment, or guarantee of the Coach’s skill, quality, safety, or suitability.
4. Coach Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Coach account credentials.
You agree that:
you will not share your login credentials with any other person;
you will not allow unauthorised access to your Coach account;
you will not permit staff, assistants, or third parties to access the Platform through your account unless expressly permitted by Janma;
you will immediately notify Janma of any unauthorised access, suspected breach, or misuse;
you will be responsible for all activity conducted through your Coach account.
Janma may suspend or restrict access if it suspects account misuse, unauthorised access, security risk, or violation of these Terms.
5. Coach Responsibilities
The Coach is responsible for all coaching services provided to Trainees.
You agree to:
provide coaching responsibly, ethically, and professionally;
assign training plans appropriate to the Trainee’s disclosed fitness level, training history, goals, and limitations;
review relevant Trainee Data before providing training guidance;
avoid reckless, unsafe, excessive, or inappropriate training recommendations;
encourage Trainees to seek medical advice where required;
respect Trainee privacy and confidentiality;
communicate clearly and respectfully;
keep your Coach profile, qualifications, and experience information accurate;
comply with applicable laws;
comply with Janma policies;
use the Platform only for authorised coaching and training purposes.
You must not misrepresent your qualifications, certifications, experience, affiliations, achievements, or authority.
6. Health, Fitness, and Medical Responsibility
Running and endurance training involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, overtraining, dehydration, heat-related illness, cardiac events, falls, aggravation of existing conditions, and in rare cases, serious harm or death.
Janma is not a medical service.
Unless the Coach is separately and lawfully qualified as a medical practitioner, physiotherapist, dietician, or other regulated professional, the Coach must not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, prescription, or medical advice through the Platform.
The Coach agrees to:
encourage Trainees to consult qualified medical professionals before beginning or modifying training where appropriate;
take disclosed health, injury, recovery, and safety information into account when assigning training;
avoid giving training instructions that create unreasonable risk;
advise Trainees to stop training and seek medical attention if they report symptoms such as chest pain, dizziness, fainting, severe breathlessness, palpitations, severe pain, injury, or unusual distress;
not override medical advice given to a Trainee by a qualified professional;
not hold Janma responsible for any coaching decision made by the Coach.
The Coach remains solely responsible for the coaching advice, training plans, feedback, and guidance provided by the Coach.
7. No Guarantee of Results
The Coach must not guarantee any specific fitness, race, health, performance, body composition, weight loss, recovery, injury prevention, or competition outcome to any Trainee unless such guarantee is expressly authorised by Janma in writing.
Training outcomes depend on many factors, including health, fitness level, consistency, genetics, sleep, nutrition, stress, weather, terrain, injury status, compliance, recovery, and external circumstances.
The Coach must ensure that Trainees understand that training plans and coaching guidance do not guarantee any particular result.
8. Access to Trainee Data
Janma may provide the Coach with access to Trainee Data for Trainees assigned to or associated with the Coach.
Trainee Data may include:
name and contact details;
profile details;
age, sex, height, weight, and fitness profile;
running history;
training goals;
injury and health disclosures;
workout plans;
completed and missed workouts;
distance, duration, pace, cadence, elevation, heart rate, recovery, sleep, HRV, VO₂ max, and similar data;
GPS/location data;
third-party device or application data;
Coach-Trainee communications;
performance analytics;
platform reports and summaries.
The Coach may access and use Trainee Data only for legitimate coaching purposes connected with the Trainee’s use of Janma Endurance.
The Coach must not use Trainee Data for any unrelated, unauthorised, commercial, personal, competitive, exploitative, or unlawful purpose.
9. Data Confidentiality and Privacy Obligations
The Coach must treat all Trainee Data as confidential.
The Coach agrees to:
access Trainee Data only where necessary for coaching;
use Trainee Data only for authorised coaching purposes;
not disclose Trainee Data to any third party without Janma’s and the Trainee’s authorisation;
not download, copy, export, screenshot, photograph, store, or transfer Trainee Data outside the Platform except where expressly permitted by Janma or reasonably necessary for coaching;
not use Trainee Data to market unrelated services without consent;
not sell, rent, share, or commercially exploit Trainee Data;
not publish Trainee Data, screenshots, progress reports, race data, medical information, photographs, testimonials, or achievements without the Trainee’s valid consent and Janma’s applicable policy compliance;
not use Trainee Data after the coaching relationship ends, except as legally required or expressly permitted;
promptly notify Janma of any suspected data breach, unauthorised disclosure, loss, misuse, or security incident.
The Coach must comply with Janma’s Privacy Policy and all applicable data protection laws.
10. Data Protection and Security
The Coach must take reasonable steps to protect Trainee Data and Platform access.
The Coach must:
use strong passwords;
keep devices secure;
avoid using shared or public devices for Platform access;
log out from shared systems;
avoid storing Trainee Data in unsecured files, spreadsheets, messaging apps, or personal devices;
not share Trainee Data through insecure channels;
immediately inform Janma of any suspected unauthorised access or breach;
comply with any security instructions issued by Janma.
If the Coach engages assistants, staff, employees, contractors, or third parties, the Coach must ensure that they do not access Trainee Data or the Platform unless expressly authorised by Janma in writing and bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations acceptable to Janma.
11. Coach Content
The Coach may create or upload Coach Content through the Platform.
The Coach represents and warrants that:
the Coach owns or has the right to use and share the Coach Content;
the Coach Content does not infringe any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights of any person;
the Coach Content is not unlawful, misleading, harmful, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, abusive, or unsafe;
the Coach Content does not contain medical advice unless the Coach is lawfully qualified to provide such advice;
the Coach Content is suitable for the intended Trainee or audience.
The Coach remains responsible for all Coach Content submitted through the Platform.
12. Licence to Janma
The Coach grants Janma a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, process, analyse, format, modify, and use Coach Content for the purposes of:
operating the Platform;
displaying Coach Content to relevant Trainees;
enabling training plan delivery;
providing analytics and reports;
troubleshooting;
customer support;
improving Platform functionality;
enforcing policies;
complying with law.
Unless separately agreed, the Coach retains ownership of the Coach’s original coaching content, subject to the rights granted to Janma under these Terms.
Janma owns all Platform tools, software, dashboards, workflows, analytics structures, templates created by Janma, reports generated by Janma, interface elements, algorithms, system-generated insights, and Janma intellectual property.
13. Use of Janma Intellectual Property
The Coach may use Janma’s name, Platform references, and branding only in the manner expressly permitted by Janma.
The Coach must not:
misuse Janma’s name, brand, logo, domain, screenshots, or Platform materials;
imply employment, agency, partnership, certification, or endorsement unless expressly authorised;
create misleading promotional material;
register domains, social media handles, trademarks, or business names using Janma’s name or confusingly similar names;
copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, scrape, or build competing tools using Janma’s Platform, workflows, data, templates, or analytics.
All Janma intellectual property remains the property of Janma.
14. Coach Commercial Terms
Any commercial arrangement between Janma and the Coach, including revenue share, referral fee, payout, commission, platform fee, or other compensation, shall be governed by separately agreed Coach Commercial Terms.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
Trainees pay applicable subscription fees directly to Janma;
any amount payable by Janma to the Coach will be calculated in accordance with the agreed commercial arrangement;
payouts may be subject to deductions, taxes, payment gateway charges, refunds, chargebacks, failed payments, subscription cancellations, and adjustments;
Janma may withhold payout where there is suspected fraud, misuse, violation of these Terms, dispute, legal risk, or unresolved complaint;
the Coach is responsible for providing accurate bank, tax, identity, and payout information;
Janma is not responsible for delayed or failed payouts caused by incorrect Coach information or banking/payment issues.
Commercial terms may be amended by mutual agreement or in accordance with the applicable commercial arrangement.
15. Taxes and Compliance
The Coach is solely responsible for the Coach’s own tax, accounting, GST, income tax, professional tax, registration, invoicing, and legal compliance obligations.
The Coach agrees that:
any amount received from Janma or Trainees may be subject to applicable tax laws;
the Coach is responsible for determining whether GST registration is required;
the Coach is responsible for issuing invoices where legally required;
Janma may deduct tax at source or make other deductions where required by law;
Janma may request PAN, GSTIN, bank details, address, identity proof, or other compliance information;
failure to provide required compliance information may delay or prevent payouts.
Nothing in these Terms constitutes tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice to the Coach.
16. Direct Coaching Fees and External Arrangements
The Coach may have separate coaching fee arrangements with Trainees outside the Platform, unless restricted by a separate agreement with Janma.
However, the Coach must not mislead Trainees into believing that external fees are charged by Janma unless expressly authorised.
The Coach is solely responsible for:
fees charged directly to Trainees;
services promised directly to Trainees;
invoices or receipts issued to Trainees;
taxes on amounts collected directly;
disputes arising from direct Coach-Trainee arrangements;
refunds or service issues relating to direct coaching fees.
Janma is not responsible for any payment, promise, refund, dispute, or liability arising from separate arrangements between the Coach and Trainees.
17. Non-Circumvention and Platform Integrity
The Coach must not misuse the Platform to avoid agreed commercial obligations to Janma.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Coach must not:
encourage Trainees introduced through Janma to avoid Platform subscriptions;
collect Janma subscription fees directly from Trainees;
misrepresent Janma pricing, fees, or billing;
manipulate subscriptions, referrals, or account structures;
create duplicate or false Trainee accounts;
use Janma tools to service Trainees while bypassing Janma’s applicable commercial model;
interfere with Janma’s billing, subscription, or platform access systems.
This clause does not prevent a Coach from independently coaching Trainees outside Janma, provided the Coach does not misuse Janma’s Platform, data, brand, systems, or commercial arrangements.
18. Restrictions on Use
The Coach must not:
share login credentials;
permit unauthorised access to the Coach account;
scrape, copy, download, export, or commercially exploit Platform data;
reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive Platform source code, logic, algorithms, or architecture;
use the Platform to build or improve a competing product;
misuse Trainee Data;
upload unlawful, misleading, harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or infringing content;
harass, threaten, abuse, or exploit Trainees or other Users;
make false claims about Janma or the Platform;
interfere with Platform operations;
upload malware or harmful code;
conduct fraudulent activity;
use the Platform for illegal, unsafe, or unauthorised purposes;
violate any applicable law or regulation.
19. Communication with Trainees
The Coach must communicate with Trainees professionally and respectfully.
The Coach must not:
harass or intimidate Trainees;
use abusive, discriminatory, sexually inappropriate, coercive, or exploitative language;
request unnecessary sensitive information;
pressure Trainees into unsafe training;
make misleading claims;
misuse Trainee contact details;
send unrelated marketing without consent;
disclose private Trainee information to other Trainees or third parties.
Janma may review Platform communications where necessary for support, safety, dispute resolution, compliance, or enforcement.
20. Testimonials, Images, and Publicity
The Coach must not publish or use any Trainee’s name, image, likeness, performance data, race result, progress report, testimonial, transformation, medical information, or training data for marketing, social media, publicity, or promotional purposes without obtaining valid consent from the Trainee.
Where such content relates to Janma or the Platform, Janma’s consent may also be required.
The Coach must comply with applicable privacy, advertising, consumer protection, and platform rules when using testimonials or promotional material.
21. Complaints and Disputes with Trainees
The Coach is responsible for resolving disputes arising from the Coach’s coaching services, direct coaching fees, promises, representations, conduct, or advice.
Janma may, at its discretion, assist in reviewing complaints or Platform-related disputes.
Janma may take platform-level action, including warnings, restrictions, suspension, termination, withholding payout, or removal of access, if complaints indicate misconduct, safety risk, privacy breach, fraud, harassment, or violation of these Terms.
Janma’s involvement in a complaint does not make Janma liable for the Coach’s conduct.
22. Platform Availability and Changes
Janma will make reasonable efforts to keep the Platform available, but does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or continuous access.
The Platform may be unavailable due to:
maintenance;
updates;
technical issues;
hosting failures;
third-party service interruptions;
security incidents;
force majeure events;
legal or regulatory reasons.
Janma may add, modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any feature, integration, dashboard, tool, or service at any time.
23. Suspension and Termination
Janma may suspend, restrict, or terminate the Coach’s access to the Platform if:
the Coach violates these Terms;
the Coach misuses Trainee Data;
the Coach breaches confidentiality or privacy obligations;
the Coach provides false or misleading information;
the Coach engages in unsafe, unethical, abusive, or unlawful conduct;
the Coach misrepresents qualifications, experience, or affiliation with Janma;
the Coach misuses Janma’s brand or intellectual property;
the Coach circumvents Janma’s commercial model;
the Coach fails to provide required tax, identity, or payout information;
the Coach creates legal, safety, security, financial, or reputational risk;
Janma receives serious complaints against the Coach;
required by law, regulation, court order, or government authority;
Janma discontinues or changes the Platform or Coach programme.
Upon suspension or termination, Janma may restrict the Coach’s access to Trainee Data, Coach dashboard, payouts, Platform features, and related services.
Termination will not affect obligations that are intended to survive, including confidentiality, data protection, intellectual property, payment adjustments, indemnity, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, and governing law.
24. Effect of Termination
Upon termination of Coach access:
the Coach must stop using the Platform;
the Coach must stop accessing or using Trainee Data obtained through the Platform;
the Coach must return, delete, or destroy Trainee Data in the Coach’s possession if requested by Janma, subject to legal retention requirements;
Janma may reassign Trainees, disable Coach access, or preserve Platform records as necessary;
pending payouts, if any, may be settled subject to applicable commercial terms, deductions, disputes, refunds, chargebacks, tax compliance, and violations of these Terms.
The Coach must not retain or use Trainee Data after termination except where legally required.
25. Confidentiality
The Coach may receive confidential information relating to Janma, the Platform, Trainees, business processes, product plans, pricing, technology, analytics, workflows, data, documents, commercial arrangements, and other non-public information.
The Coach must:
keep such information confidential;
use it only for authorised purposes;
not disclose it to third parties without Janma’s written consent;
protect it with reasonable care;
return or delete it upon request.
Confidentiality obligations continue even after termination of the Coach’s access to the Platform.
26. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Janma disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, reliability, security, and error-free operation.
Janma does not warrant that:
the Platform will meet the Coach’s expectations;
the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free;
analytics or reports will always be accurate;
third-party integrations will function properly;
Trainees will continue subscriptions;
any commercial income will be earned;
any specific number of Trainees will be provided;
any training outcome will be achieved.
27. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Janma, its partners, designated partners, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of income, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, reputational harm, coaching disputes, Trainee injuries, or third-party claims arising from the Coach’s use of the Platform.
Janma’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Coach’s use of the Platform will not exceed the amount paid by Janma to the Coach during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
If no amount was paid by Janma to the Coach during that period, Janma’s liability shall be limited to ₹1,000.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted under applicable law.
28. Indemnity
The Coach agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Janma, its partners, designated partners, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to:
the Coach’s coaching services;
training plans, advice, feedback, or instructions given by the Coach;
injury, illness, loss, or damage suffered by a Trainee due to the Coach’s acts or omissions;
the Coach’s violation of these Terms;
breach of confidentiality or privacy obligations;
misuse or unauthorised disclosure of Trainee Data;
violation of applicable law;
misrepresentation of qualifications or services;
direct fee arrangements with Trainees;
tax, GST, invoicing, or compliance failures;
intellectual property infringement by Coach Content;
disputes between the Coach and Trainees;
fraud, misconduct, negligence, or wilful default by the Coach.
29. Force Majeure
Janma will not be liable for delay, failure, interruption, or non-performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, strikes, labour disputes, war, terrorism, civil unrest, internet failures, cyberattacks, government actions, power failures, third-party service failures, regulatory changes, or other force majeure events.
30. Updates to These Terms
Janma may update these Coach Terms of Use from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may notify Coaches through the Platform, by email, or by any other reasonable method.
Your continued use of the Platform after the updated Terms become effective will mean that you accept the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform as a Coach.
31. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
32. Dispute Resolution
If any dispute, claim, or controversy arises out of or in connection with these Terms, the Platform, Coach access, Coach Commercial Terms, payouts, or any related matter, the parties will first attempt to resolve the dispute amicably through good faith discussions.
If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days from the date on which one party notifies the other party of the dispute, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed mutually by the parties. If the parties are unable to agree on the appointment of the sole arbitrator, the arbitrator shall be appointed in accordance with applicable law.
The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The language of arbitration shall be English.
The arbitral award shall be final and binding on the parties.
Subject to the arbitration clause above, the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
33. Notices
Notices to Janma must be sent to:

Janma may send notices to the Coach through email, Platform notifications, dashboard messages, or other contact details provided by the Coach.
34. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to remain valid and enforceable.
The invalid or unenforceable provision will be replaced, to the extent possible, with a valid and enforceable provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
35. No Waiver
Janma’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms will not be treated as a waiver of that provision or Janma’s right to enforce it later.
36. Assignment
The Coach may not assign or transfer rights or obligations under these Terms without Janma’s prior written consent.
Janma may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms to any affiliate, successor, acquirer, investor, or entity involved in a merger, restructuring, sale of assets, or transfer of business.
37. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with Janma’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Coach Commercial Terms, and any other applicable written agreement or policy, constitute the entire agreement between Janma and the Coach regarding Coach access to and use of the Platform.
In case of conflict between these Coach Terms and any separately executed written Coach Commercial Terms, the written Coach Commercial Terms shall prevail only with respect to the specific commercial matter addressed therein.
38. Acceptance
By creating a Coach account, accessing the Coach dashboard, inviting Trainees, viewing Trainee Data, assigning training, communicating with Trainees, receiving platform-linked commercial benefits, or otherwise using Janma Endurance as a Coach, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Coach Terms of Use.
If you use the Platform on behalf of a coaching business, club, organisation, or entity, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that entity.
